Terms of Service

Welcome to Sweet Other. By joining our waitlist, creating an account, or using our site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Sweet Other.

1. Who can use Sweet Other

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. Sweet Other is for people genuinely interested in meeting others for relationships — please use a real identity and accurate information, and only one registration per person.

2. What Sweet Other is — and isn’t

Sweet Other is an early-access service that builds a verified, local, relationship-minded community and makes introductions and offers coaching once a neighborhood opens. We help people meet — we don’t promise that you’ll get a match, a date, or a relationship, or that any particular person will be on the platform. A neighborhood only opens when enough people there have joined, and timing isn’t guaranteed.

3. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information and keep it current.
• Treat other people with respect. No harassment, hate, threats, or illegal activity.
• Don’t spam, solicit, scrape, use bots, or try to break or overload the service.
• Don’t impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are.
• Your safety is your own. At this stage we do not run background checks. Use good judgment when communicating with or meeting anyone — meet in public, tell a friend, and trust your instincts.

4. Optional purchases (Founding Kits)

From time to time we may offer optional items, such as a Founding Kit of promotional materials for ambassadors or venues. Today, no payment is required — sign-ups simply reserve a spot. If and when paid purchases go live, the price, what’s included, and any refund terms will be shown at checkout and will form part of these Terms.

5. Ambassadors and venue partners

Information on our site about founding equity, revenue share, or partner benefits is a general description, not an offer or a binding commitment, and is not an offer or sale of any security. Any ambassador or venue relationship — including any equity — is governed by a separate written agreement that you and we sign. If anything on the site conflicts with that signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.

6. Our content and marks

Sweet Other, our logo, and the content on our site are owned by us or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the site for its intended purpose. Please don’t copy, resell, or use our brand without permission.

7. Disclaimers

Sweet Other is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will lead to any particular outcome, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or in person.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweet Other and its team won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to cover and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms or the law, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Sweet Other and ask us to delete your information at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, misuse the service, or to protect other users — and we may discontinue features as the product evolves.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service grows. If changes are material, we’ll update this page and the effective date, and where appropriate let you know. Continuing to use Sweet Other after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Sweet Other is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located there.
